Mountain bikers will love the area around Lana. The most popular bike destinations are the Vigiljoch just above Lana, as well as the Ulten Valley and the Tschögglberg, a mountain ridge running from Bozen to Meran. From Lana, you can reach the Vigiljoch within minutes, using the Vigiljoch railway. A popular bike trail leads you from the mountain terminal via the Vigiljoch to the Naturns Alm and to the village of Naturns. From there, you can take the cycling path back to Lana. The Vöran cable railway carries you straight to the Tschögglberg.

The return trip is via Hafling and from there to Lana. In the Ulten Valley, you best start your tour at the parking lot of the Zoggl water reservoir, the second of the Ulten Valley reservoirs. From here, you can do numerous great cycle tours to the Alpine meadows in the surrounding area.
